This week, Booking Through Thursday asks:

“Which non-series book would you most like to read the sequel to? Do you have any wishes for what might happen in it?”

I have been pondering this one all day, and I’m actually having trouble thinking of one. See, most of my books belong to series or trilogies, and the ones that don’t usually have “companion” books – not direct sequels, but still connected the first book – attached to them.

But, on the last perusal through my bookshelf, I think I’ve stumbled across one.

I want a sequel to Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman. Or at least a loose companion book. Does one already exist?

As I quite respect Mr. Gaiman’s storytelling abilities, I won’t presume to dictate a plot. I do, however, have one request – Lots of the Marquis de Carabas!
