reading in winter (1)Booking Through Thursday asks:

“It’s the depth of winter here where I live right now … what books do you like to read when it’s snowy and white? What books do you read to evoke a real feeling of winter (good or bad)?”

Well, since I live on the sunny West Coast, we never get snow where I live, so I have no “Snow Day” books. I do love curling up with either Pride & Prejudice or  Little Women on rainy days though – they are both such cozy books!

The book that conjures winter for me is (unsurprisingly) Hans Christian Anderson’s The Snow Queen, since most of it takes place during winter or in the snow. I know, so unoriginal of me.

What are your winter reads?
